Am Dienstag, den 25.10. wird der Hip Hop Experte und Autor Bakari Kitwana einen Vortag zum Thema "Kendrick Lamar, Beyonce, and the Politics of Hip-Hop/Resistance" im Rahmen des Kolloquiums halten. 

"This talk could look at Kendrick and Beyonce and impacting the Black Lives Matter Movement and US political discourse around race. I could also discuss the impact of both Lemonade/ Formation and To Pimp A Butterfly/ Alright and various public statements and performances as they relate to interceding on national discourse and ways they are politicizing a new generation via popular culture."
