Literaturgroßbestellung in Bibliothek angekommen

Eine der Vorzüge unseres Instituts ist die Fach-Bibliothek im gleichen Haus. Normalerweise wird neue Literatur sukzessive je nach den aktuell behandelten Schwerpunkten angeschafft. In diesem Sommersemester ist es gelungen, gleich eine größere Menge von Büchern als E-Medien auf einmal zu erwerben. Damit soll auch der zunehmenden Digitalisierung des Arbeitsalltags in Forschung und Lehre Rechnung getragen werden. Inzwischen sind im KatalogPlus der Staatsbibliothek unter dem Schlagwort „music“ über 7.000 Titel von E-Medien abrufbar.
Auf die neuen Medien kann ab sofort entweder aus dem WLAN innerhalb der Uni zugegriffen werden oder nach Einwahl in das Uni-Netzwerk via VPN-Verbindung von Orten außerhalb der Uni. Über die Installation und den Verbindungsaufbau informiert das Rechenzentrum auf einer eigenen Seite (https://www.rrz.uni-hamburg.de/services/netz/vpn.html).
